Press Brake Setup Lead

Duties Lead the setup and calibration of press brake machines to meet detailed specifications and production schedules Program CNC (Computer Numerical Control) press brakes using CAD/CAM software to ensure accurate bending operations Read and interpret complex blueprints, technical drawings, and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) standards for precise fabrication Conduct routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and adjustments on press brake machinery to minimize downtime Oversee quality inspection processes utilizing micrometers, calipers, precision measuring instruments, and other tools to verify dimensional accuracy Collaborate with fabrication teams to optimize tooling selection and setup procedures for sheet metal bending projects Ensure compliance with safety protocols by operating cranes, forklifts, hand tools, and other equipment responsibly while maintaining a safe work environment Qualifications Proven experience operating and setting up press brake machines in a manufacturing or fabrication environment Strong knowledge of CNC programming, laser cutting, plasma cutting, electrical discharge machining (EDM), CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, stamping presses, welding, and general machining processes Mechanical aptitude with a solid understanding of sheet metal fabrication techniques and tooling management Ability to read complex blueprints and apply GD&T standards accurately Familiarity with quality inspection tools such as micrometers, calipers, and other precision measuring instruments Basic math skills necessary for measurements, calculations, and troubleshooting during setup processes Valid certification or experience in forklift operation; crane operation is a plus Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead a team effectively while maintaining safety standards Join us as a Press Brake Setup Lead and become an integral part of our manufacturing excellence!
