Press Operator Needed 2nd Shift $23-26/hr! Job Description We are seeking an experienced Press Operator with a solid tenure in machine operation. The candidate should have at least one year of experience in their current role and not have a history of frequent job changes. This role involves operating in a loud, non-climate controlled environment and requires heavy lifting of up to 70 lbs. The position offers training to become a robotic welder. Responsibilities Operate and set up various presses, including press machine, press brake, and punch press. Receive steel coil from the crane and assist in setting it up on the presses. Set up presses based on the part needed according to the sequence order provided in SAP. Perform initial and periodic quality checks as outlined in the control plan and record all checks accurately. Learn to operate multiple presses and fill in for absences as needed. Essential Skills Solid machine operating experience beyond simple button presses or assembly line work. Mechanical aptitude and ability to learn quickly. Ability to lift up to 70 lbs. Experience with press machines, press brakes, and punch presses. Additional Skills & Qualifications Blueprint reading skills. Experience with laser machines. Flexibility and dependability in filling in for absences. Why Work Here? Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Ashland City, TN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $27.00/hr.
