2nd Shift Prima Punch Machine Operator Financially sound and growing metal fabricator of commercial kitchen ventilation systems has an immediate opening for an: Exceptional worker as a full-time Machinist Scheduled working hours of Monday-Friday 2pm-10:30pm with mandatory overtime when production demands require it. Responsibilities include:

Prepare machine for production by positioning and securing material Determine sequence of operations by studying blueprints, specifications, and work orders Regulate machining by setting and adjusting controls Maintain specifications by observing operations; detecting malfunctions; inspecting parts; adjusting controls Resolve production problems by altering process to meet specifications; notifying supervisor to obtain additional resources Ensures operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs Documents actions by completing production and quality logs Contributes to team effort working in other areas as needed

Job Requirements:

Attention to detail, safety and quality Basic Microsoft Office/Windows knowledge is beneficial Capable of solving problems and using good judgment in making decisions Ability to read and work from prints, schematics, and technical bulletins Ability to read tape measures and use good rudimentary math skills Capable of lifting 50 lbs. and standing for long periods Physical stamina and strength Education High school diploma or equivalent required Salary Competitive Wages Monthly bonus based on performance, productivity and profits.
