This role manages high-level practice operations, coordinates practice-wide meetings, monitors supervisor performance and task completion, and ensures operational goals and timelines are met. The Nurse manager will also assist in data collection, and clinical support as assigned. General Office / Facility Responsibilities Lead and manage the office supervisors with daily tasks, supporting where necessary and communicating performance difficulties and successes to the practice administrator Demonstrate strong big-picture managerial skills. Coordinate office-wide meetings, trouble shoot inefficient workflows, problem solve systemic challenges Maintain oversight of all facility audits, serve as primary resource and support for office supervisors to ensure operational success Collaborate with practice administrator, medical director, wellness department and, professional development coordinator to implement practice-wide initiatives Utilize nursing skills for tasks as assigned, including triage services, documentation review, and data collection The Patient Experience - Clinical Care & Customer Service Promote high quality customer service and espouse company values Oversee phone operators and communicate operational challenges with practice administrator Promote that each patient receives quality healthcare. Pursue the objective of making patient facing roles more efficient and the patient visit more seamless, in collaboration with the wellness department and professional development coordinator Employee Management Manage office supervisors and act as a liaison between supervisors and practice administrator. Provide high-level guidance, oversight and problem-solving support while empowering office supervisors to manage day-to-day operational responsibilities Maintain expert knowledge of office policies and act as a reference and advocate for proper clinical and administrative practice Cover for office supervisors when absent or tardy Collaborate with supervisors in employee orientation and training, ensuring that supervisors are conveying company values Maintain and update employee trainings and policies to reflect current practice Manage operator staff to ensure skillset and knowledge of assigned duties supports performance that meets or exceeds expectations. Perform introductory evaluations and annual performance reviews with the supervisors and practice administrator Conduct ongoing training and mentoring of all non-licensed staff In person oversight of remote office locations (Norwalk, Whittier, Inglewood) is required as needed. •Other duties may be assigned as needed. Qualifications Associate's degree in nursing, bachelor's preferred with active CA state license 2-3 years of experience in medical office or healthcare setting with at least 1 year of managerial or leadership experience Knowledge of medical office operations, scheduling, and insurances Familiarity with EMR systems and standard office software Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills Understanding of HIPAA, OSHA, and general healthcare compliance standards Physical Requirements Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods. Occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds. Frequent use of computer, telephone, and standard office equipment. May be required to assist with light clinical or administrative tasks in a fast-paced environment.
