Primary Care Optometrist 1000 James F Epps Road, Branson, MO 65616 Full-time Full-time Overview We are looking for a full- time optometrist to join our legacy practice in the beautiful Ozark Mountains with the potential for a future buy in opportunity. Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Primary Care Optometrist and play a vital role in delivering exceptional eye care services to diverse patient populations. In this engaging position, you will conduct comprehensive eye examinations, diagnose and manage ocular conditions, and provide personalized vision solutions. We are dedicated to providing the highest level of total family eye care in a friendly, personal, and compassionate environment. Responsibilities Perform thorough eye examinations using advanced diagnostic tools to assess visual acuity, ocular health, and physiological function. Diagnose and manage common and complex eye conditions, including those related to ophthalmology, pediatrics, and general health. Utilize EMR (Electronic Medical Records) and EHR (Electronic Health Records) systems to accurately document patient histories, clinical findings, treatment plans, and medical coding. Educate patients on eye health, preventive care, contact lens fitting, and optical options to enhance their understanding and satisfaction. Maintain strict adherence to HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality and data security. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive patient care, ensuring optimal outcomes. Qualifications Valid licensure as an Optometrist. Valid state license to practice optometry. Strong customer service skills and a passion for patient-centered care. Experience working with EMR/EHR systems for documentation, billing, and medical coding purposes. Knowledge of pediatric eye care practices and the ability to communicate effectively with patients of all ages. Understanding of HIPAA compliance standards and best practices for maintaining patient privacy. A strong sense of workplace professionalism and personal ethics.
