Hiring for 2026-27 School Year due to numbers! Position will be filled ASAP! Apply today! Summary Humboldt Elementary School is seeking a dedicated and passionate teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will foster a nurturing and engaging learning environment for young children, encouraging their social, emotional, and academic growth. The teacher will implement a developmentally appropriate curriculum that meets the needs of all students while promoting a love for learning. Responsibilities Develop and implement lesson plans that align with the curriculum and educational standards. Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports the diverse needs of students. Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback to students and parents. Foster strong relationships with students, encouraging their social and emotional development. Collaborate with colleagues, administrators, and parents to support student learning and well-being. Organize and participate in school events, parent-teacher conferences, and community activities. Maintain a safe and orderly classroom, ensuring a healthy learning environment. Incorporate technology and hands-on activities to enhance student engagement and learning. Stay current with educational best practices and participate in professional development opportunities. Requirements Valid teaching certification or license. Experience working with young children in a classroom setting preferred. Strong understanding of child development and early childhood education principles. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to create engaging and age-appropriate learning activities. Patience, creativity, and a genuine passion for teaching young children. Proficiency in using technology for educational purposes.
