Primary Therapist

In this full-time position, the Primary Therapist is responsible for performing client care activities as directed by the Clinical Director. This role will provide group and individual therapy and actively collaborate with the Treatment Team in the formulation of the Master Treatment Plan, ongoing treatment, and assists in coordinating discharge planning.

Principle Duties Include:

Actively participates in Multidisciplinary Treatment Plan meetings. Shares pertinent information with team as obtained from client's family, or others as indicated throughout program. Evaluates the impact of therapeutic interventions upon the therapeutic milieu. Facilitates group therapy and completes subsequent documentation in a timely manner. Performs individual therapy with client/family. Assesses clients using ASAM and diagnoses using current DSM to determine need and appropriate level of care, continued need for services and transfer/discharge. Join our team! Education and Licensure Requirements Required:

Master's degree from an accredited college or university in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related health field. Active licensure in one of the following: LP, LLP, TLLP, LPC, LLC, LMFT, LLMFT, LMSW, or

LLMSW AND

one of the following certifications: CADC, CAADC, LCADC, LCAADC, or enrollment in a CAADC Development Plan OR For psychologists: Specialty in addiction through the American Psychological Association (APA) For counselors/therapists: Certification through the Upper Midwest Indian Council on Addiction Disorders (UMICAD) Experience Minimum of 2 years' experience in a chemical dependency treatment setting Security Measures and Clearance State and federal background checks Education and prior employment verification Pre-employment drug screening and physical exam License verification
