As a Print Production Technician, you will perform the following duties:

Printer Operation:

Operate high speed printers and inserters to produce forms, letters, manuals, brochures, and other printed materials

Job Setup:

Prepare and program digital printers by reviewing job specifications and releasing work from the print queue

Quality Checks:

Perform quality assurance reviews to confirm correct printing, proper stock usage, and consistent output throughout each run

Data Accuracy:

Inspect variable print data to ensure information appears in the correct locations and resolve print issues

Bindery Tasks:

Complete hand-based tasks such as comb binding, spiral binding, banding, padding, and packing materials for delivery

Equipment Care:

Maintain digital equipment by performing daily maintenance, clearing jams, changing supplies, and making minor adjustments Interested in learning more? Additional details regarding this position can be found in the position description.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

Full-time employment, 8 hours per day with 40 work weeks This facility is a 24 hour per day, 5 days a week facility Work schedules include a 30 minute lunch: 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM Monday

• Friday 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM Monday
• Friday 11:00 PM to 07:00 AM Sunday
• Thursday This position is considered essential.

You will be required to work during emergencies and office closings.

Telework:

You will not have the option to telework in this position.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

One year as a Print Production Operator (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or One year of experience in the operation of print or mail insertion equipment or similar machinery used in a print or mail production facility; or An equivalent combination of experience and training.
