Job Description
Duties:
- Provide private duty nursing care to patients in their homes or other private settings
- Administer medications via peg tube
- Follow established nursing standards and protocols in providing care
- Monitor vital signs and assess patients' overall health status
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
- Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families
Experience:
- Must have a valid nursing license in the state of practice
- Previous experience in private duty nursing or a related field is preferred
- Experience working with special needs patients is beneficial
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for effective patient interaction
