Private Event Coordinator Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Private Event Coordinator to lead the planning, organization, and execution of exclusive events at our waterfront venue, The Holiday Inn Spring Lake.

Duties Collaborate with clients to understand their vision, needs, and budget for private events such as weddings, corporate gatherings, celebrations, and fundraisers Develop comprehensive event plans including timelines, layouts, catering arrangements, entertainment, and décor specifications Negotiate contracts with vendors, caterers, entertainment providers, and other service partners to secure the best terms and ensure quality standards are met Coordinate all logistical details—venue setup, staffing, equipment rentals, and catering services—ensuring seamless execution on the event day Manage budgets effectively by tracking expenses, upselling additional services or upgrades, and ensuring profitability of each event Provide exceptional guest services by addressing client inquiries promptly and ensuring all aspects of the event meet or exceed expectations Skills Expertise in event marketing and planning with a keen eye for detail and creativity Superior customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor Effective time management to juggle multiple events simultaneously while meeting deadlines Extensive experience in events management including banquet operations, catering coordination, and hospitality services Budgeting proficiency to manage costs without compromising quality or guest experience Clear communication skills for liaising with clients, vendors, staff, and team members Organizational skills necessary for meticulous planning and smooth execution of events Hands-on banquet experience combined with restaurant or hotel industry background preferred When needed handle permits and compliance with local regulations Oversee setup and teardown of event spaces Familiarity with contracts, venue policies, catering arrangements, and fundraising activities is advantageous Join us as a Private Event Coordinator where your passion for creating unforgettable moments will shine!
