PRN (As needed) Join Our Team at Emerald Nursing & Rehab Columbus Emerald Nursing & Rehab Columbus is seeking a compassionate and motivated Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) to join our rehabilitation team. This position offers flexible scheduling and is ideal for someone looking for PRN/as-needed opportunities. Our team is supportive, energetic, and committed to helping both residents and coworkers succeed. Responsibilities Assist with implementing individualized treatment plans developed by the Occupational Therapist Support residents with therapeutic exercises, daily activities, and functional mobility tasks Monitor patient progress and maintain accurate documentation of treatments and responses Communicate effectively with residents, families, and interdisciplinary team members regarding care and progress Maintain compliance with facility policies, safety standards, and infection control procedures Participate in team meetings and contribute to a collaborative, patient-centered environment Qualifications Associate degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program Current state licensure/certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant Previous skilled nursing or healthcare experience preferred, but not required Skills & Attributes Strong communication and interpersonal skills Compassionate, patient-focused approach to care Ability to work collaboratively within a team Excellent organization and time management skills
