We invite you to join our team as a PRN Hospice Grant Writer , where your work will directly support and sustain the mission of providing exceptional end-of-life care. This flexible role is ideal for someone who values purpose-driven work and enjoys the balance of independence and collaboration. As a Grant Writer, you will play an important part in helping our hospice organization grow and thrive by securing funding that allows us to serve patients and families with compassion, dignity, and excellence. In this role, your writing will do more than inform—it will tell meaningful stories, highlight impact, and open doors to new opportunities for care. Research and identify grant opportunities aligned with hospice and healthcare services Write clear, compelling, and impactful grant proposals and applications Manage grant timelines, deadlines, and reporting requirements with strong attention to detail Collaborate with clinical, administrative, and leadership teams to gather information and insights Track submissions, outcomes, and funding progress Ensure compliance with grant guidelines and organizational standards Build and maintain positive relationships with funding agencies and foundations Do you have: Proven experience in grant writing (healthcare, hospice, or nonprofit experience preferred) Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills Excellent research and organizational abilities Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities and deadlines Knowledge of funding sources, including government and private grants Familiarity with hospice care or healthcare services is a plus Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Nonprofit Management, Healthcare, or a related field preferred Experience with grant management tools and Microsoft Office This offers: Flexible, PRN schedule that supports work-life balance The opportunity to make a real, lasting impact on patient care Work that is mission-driven and meaningful A supportive, collaborative team that values your contributions The chance to combine your writing talents with purpose and compassion If you are passionate about storytelling, driven by purpose, and inspired to support compassionate end-of-life care, we would love to connect with you.
