is a very small Rural Emergency Hospital (REH) in Crosbyton, TX. The Radiology department handles X-rays for the Emergency Room and Outpatient services.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated X-ray Technician to join our medical team. As an X-ray Technician, you will play a crucial role in providing accurate diagnostic evaluations and assisting in patient care. This position requires expertise in operating X-ray equipment, performing scans, and ensuring patient safety.

Responsibilities:

• Perform X-ray imaging procedures as ordered by physicians
• Operate and maintain X-ray equipment, ensuring proper functionality and safety measures
• Position patients correctly to obtain the best possible images
• Review patient medical history and ensure appropriate imaging techniques are used
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to determine the need for additional imaging or tests
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of procedures performed
• Adhere to aseptic techniques and infection control protocols
• This is a small facility and

DO NOT HAVE

radiology procedures such as CT scans, PET scans, and mammography.

• Provide exceptional patient care and ensure patient comfort throughout the imaging process

Skills:

• Proficient in operating X-ray equipment and performing scans
• In-depth knowledge of anatomy and physiology to accurately position patients for imaging
• Familiarity with diagnostic evaluation techniques using X-rays
• Ability to follow aseptic technique and maintain infection control practices
