Job Description
Highland Care Center is currently searching for a talented Outpatient Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) to join our team! Our facilities deliver outstanding care as well as foster strong employee bonds. We offer short-term to long-term care and a variety of living options and professional clinical services. The primary purpose of this position is to ensure the highest quality of resident care available, support staff and establish a positive reputation in the community while delivering on the Eduro HealthCare Values of wellness, compassion, customer experience and company results. •Daily Pay Available & Free CEUs Courses Offered •Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant Job Responsibilities Help Residents to improve their mobility. Help Residents through their tasks and monitor their performance. Inform Residents what they should anticipate in different stages of their recovery and how they will handle each situation. Maintain Resident confidence and protect facility operations by keeping information confidential. Maintains a safe and clean working environment by protecting Residents and employees by adhering to infection-control policies and protocols. Comply with federal, state, and local legal and professional requirements. Contribute to inter-disciplinary team efforts in resident care. Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant Requirements Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant license in good standing with state employed. Minimum 1 year experience working as a COTA. Experience working with geriatric patients is a plus! Must be able to pass a background check.
