Job Overview:

The Procurement Specialist is responsible for the procurement of materials and supplies, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring the acquisition of high-quality products at the best possible prices. This role involves coordinating outside purchases from quote through billing and maintaining effective communication with vendors to meet company requirements.

Compensation Details & Benefits:

What You'll Do:

Manage Purchasing & Vendor Relationships Oversee day-to-day purchasing activities, including creating purchase orders and maintaining strong relationships with vendors. Ensure suppliers meet expectations for pricing, quality, and service. Source & Negotiate with Suppliers Identify and develop new supply sources as needed while negotiating pricing, terms, and agreements. Continuously look for cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality. Track Orders & Ensure Timely Delivery Monitor order status and coordinate with vendors to ensure materials and components arrive on time. Communicate updates internally to keep operations running smoothly. Coordinate with Internal Teams Work closely with departments such as production, sales, and accounting to understand needs and resolve issues. Support business operations by ensuring materials are available when needed. Maintain Accuracy & Resolve Issues Keep accurate purchasing records, documentation, and inventory data. Assist with invoice discrepancies and ensure all transactions are completed correctly.

What We're Looking For:

Extensive experience in procurement, purchasing, buying, or a related field, with a proven ability to manage vendor relationships and negotiate effectively. Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent professional experience. Excellent communication skills, both with vendors and internal teams. Ability to read and interpret purchasing-related documents, including catalogs and technical manuals. Strong organizational and math skills, with attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under tight deadlines. Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities.
