Job Description:

Procurement Specialist Opportunity to work for one of the top 5 life sciences companies, a global leader in developing and manufacturing a broad range of high quality research and clinical diagnostic products. Responsibilities Actively manages purchase order workflows in SAP to support business needs. Works with appropriate parties to resolve invoice issues to minimize overdue invoices. Identifies and resolves potential supplier problems. Ensures goods are delivered on time and meet quality standards. Introduce and manage efficiencies through effective purchasing. Monitors cost and supplier performance. Maintains files and records related to purchasing activities.

How You'll Make An Impact:

Placing Timely Purchase Requirements maintaining customer fulfillment. Mastering and Maintaining master data elements for efficient purchase execution. Maintains on time and in full deliveries with suppliers. Proactively manages supplier relations, confidently bringing teams together for problem resolutions. Must be a leader.

Required Skills:

Bachelor's degree 5+ years purchasing/procurement experience ERP system experience Strong problem solving and negotiation skills Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint Strong verbal and written communication skills

Desired Skills:

SAP and/or Kinaxis experience desired APICS Certification Desired LI-WC1
