Beauty / Cosmetics A confidential company in the beauty and cosmetics industry is seeking a Product Marketing Coordinator to support product marketing initiatives with a strong emphasis on product development. This is not a digital marketing or social media role. The ideal candidate will help bring new products to market while supporting the ongoing management, promotion, and growth of an established portfolio that may include skincare, makeup, color cosmetics, and accessory products. This position plays a key role in cross-functional coordination, market analysis, forecasting, product documentation, and go-to-market support. The right candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working across multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the development of innovative new products and assist in managing existing product lines. Prepare strategic documents for internal review, approval, and cross-functional communication. Forecast SKU performance on a monthly basis using sales history, seasonality, and product/program impacts. Analyze sales trends by SKU and provide recommendations for product growth opportunities or discontinuations. Assist with product development supply chain activities, including review of bills of materials for accuracy. Coordinate market research and consumer testing, including product distribution, documentation, and results analysis. Assist in the development and execution of product copy and artwork in alignment with regulatory guidelines. Provide project management support to ensure timely execution of department priorities. Maintain and update systems, forecasts, and product documentation with a high degree of accuracy.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field. At least 1 year of marketing experience. Approximately 2 years of relevant professional experience preferred. Beauty or cosmetics industry experience preferred. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word. Experience using ERP systems for forecasting, sales review, and documentation updates is preferred. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong analytical skills and exceptional attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in an onsite team environment.
Compensation:
Salary conversion target of approximately $70,000 annually if converted to a permanent position.
