Find your future at Fastenal! Our distribution center is hiring energetic, team oriented individuals to work in our fast pace warehouse! Working as {JobType} {Position}, you will assist in managing the Product Handling department. The Product Handling department is responsible for consolidating product, restocking locations and moving inventory within the distribution center. You will motivate and provide leadership to team members to ensure day-to-day operations are completed safely, accurately, efficiently and on time. The duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:o Motivating and leading team memberso Coordinating employees, including scheduling, hiring and exitingo Ensuring day-to-day operations are completedo Communicating with employees and brancheso Consolidating producto Restocking producto Moving inventory throughout the distribution centero Analyzing staffing needs, reports and projections to optimize output and meet department goalso Utilizing data to implement changes and identify areas for improvemento Maintaining the cleanliness/organization of work areao Complying with health, safety and sustainability rules and expectationso Participating in activities and programs that help the company achieve health, safety and sustainability objectiveso Learning, passing, and practicing various environmental health and safety trainingsREQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
The following skills and qualifications are required for this position:o Possess prior leadership or management work experience o Knowledge of computer operations, including warehouse management systems and Microsoft Office Applicationso Proficient written and oral communication skillso Proficient computer skillso Exhibit strong problem solving, deductive reasoning and decision making skillso Learn and perform multiple tasks in a fast paced environmento Work independently as well as in a team environmento Demonstrate strong organization, planning and prioritizing abilitieso Demonstrate strong math aptitude, attention to detail and sense of urgencyo Highly motivated, self directed and customer service orientedo Lead and motivate a team of employeeso Willingness to work a flexible schedule/extra time as neededo Demonstrate our core values of ambition, innovation, integrity and teamworko Lift, slide, carry and lower packages that typically weigh 25lbs-50lbs and may weigh up to 100lbso Pass the required drug screen (applicable in the US, Puerto Rico and Guam ONLY)PREFERREDPOSITION QUALIFICATIONS
