PRODUCT MANAGER
(INDUSTRIAL SYSTEMS) The Industrial Systems Product Manager acts as the business-side owner of McGough's Industrial Construction ecosystem, ensuring platforms such as InEight, AspenTech, UDiTH, Thermoflow (GT Pro), and PlantStream drive measurable business outcomes across estimating, engineering, design, and project execution. This role partners closely with Industrial leadership, IT/IS, and Program Management to define, deliver, and continuously improve Industrials digital capabilities that align with project delivery and operational performance goals. This individual defines business justification for investments, prioritizes the roadmap, monitors adoption and ROI, and serves as the bridge between Industrial leadership, project teams, executive sponsors, and technical delivery teams. They are accountable for ensuring industrial platforms remain stable, integrated, and value-generating across the project lifecycle. In addition to roadmap ownership and optimization, this role is responsible for defining, developing and delivering the enablement strategy for the Industrial digital ecosystem, including hands-on training and capability development to ensure project teams can effectively adopt and sustain Industrial technologies in real project environments.QUALIFICATIONS
Required:
7+ years of experience in digital product management, engineering systems or enterprise application strategy. Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams to define and deliver digital tools that align with business and workforce needs. Demonstrated success in building and managing a business-focused roadmap for enterprise platforms and complementary technologies. Experience partnering with IT and Deployment Program Managers to define scope, success metrics, and delivery milestones. Strong communication, stakeholder engagement, and organizational influence skills.Preferred:
Experience with tools such as InEight, AspenTech, Thermoflow, PlantStream, or similar industrial platforms Background in industrial construction, process engineering, or plant design Familiarity with simulation, modeling, and digital engineering workflows Experience integrating engineering tools with ERP systems (e.g., CMiC) Systems-oriented thinking with awareness of cross-platform dependencies and downstream impacts. Familiarity with Agile delivery models, digital transformation initiatives, and organizational change management.Skills:
Strong systems thinking across engineering, estimating, and project execution workflows. Strong collaboration and facilitation skills; able to drive clarity and accountability across business teams. Comfortable managing ambiguity, prioritization, and organizational change. Comfortable designing and delivering hands-on training and enablement for employees and managers. Strong analytical capability—able to define, track, and communicate performance and adoption metrics. Technically fluent enough to challenge assumptions and validate feasibility with IT and vendors. Experience with project and product management tools (Asana, JIRA, Confluence, Smartsheet, MS Project, etc.). Clear, confident communicator with executive presence and attention to detail.CORE RESPONSIBLITIES
Program Leadership and Enablement Define, plan, and execute the Industrial technology ecosystem roadmap across estimating, engineering, design, execution and related platforms. Align platform investments to business outcomes such as estimating accuracy, design efficiency, and project predictability Partner with Industrial leadership, IT, and business stakeholders to establish product goals, deliverables, and KPIs. Ensure alignment with enterprise digital strategy and governance Track platform performance through defined metrics (adoption, usage, data quality, user satisfaction). Establish platform KPIs tied to workforce outcomes, compliance, and operational efficiency. Manage third-party vendors and service providers to ensure accountability to scope and SOWs. Deployment Partnership Partner with Industrial leaders and business stakeholders during rollout to ensure requirements, usage expectations, and training needs are understood and incorporated. Design and deliver training programs, office hours, and self-service learning paths for employees, managers, and Industrial partners. Manage risks, dependencies, and tradeoffs across complex technical initiatives. Participate actively in deployment readiness, including user preparedness and training timing. Serve as a business escalation point and decision-maker for key deployment tradeoffs. Product Enablement & Capability Development Partner with Industrial leaders and business stakeholders during rollout to ensure requirements, usage expectations, and training needs are understood and incorporated. Design and deliver training programs, office hours, and self-service learning paths for employees, managers, and Industrial partners. Track progress, risks, and changes through deployment phases; communicate updates to leadership. Participate actively in deployment readiness, including user preparedness and training timing. Balance platform optimization against domain-level tradeoffs Serve as a business escalation point and decision-maker for key deployment tradeoffs. Operational Excellence Establish KPIs across adoption, data quality, model accuracy, and business impact Partner with Digital Operations Leadership to align with McGough's project governance model. Drive continuous improvement in deployment and enhancement processes to improve velocity, quality, and stability. Collaborate with vendors and delivery partners to ensure solutions align with Industrial needs and enablement goals.OFFICE AND TRAVEL
Position is based at McGough's headquarters in Roseville, MN. Travel is expected to be up to 20% for various training or team building activities. Additional travel to various national office locations may be required as determined by the individual and their manager.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Employee may be required to visit construction jobsites which may expose the employee to dirt, dust, uneven surfaces, outdoor weather conditions and extreme temperatures. •In alignment with our commitment to pay transparency, the base salary range for this position is $139,000-$164,000, excluding fringe benefits or potential bonuses. If you join McGough, your final base salary will be determined by several factors, including geography, location, skills, education, and experience. Furthermore, we place significant value on pay equity among our current team members as part of any final job offer. Please note that the range provided above reflects the hiring range for this role. Hiring near the top end of this range would be atypical, as we aim to allow room for future salary growth. Additionally, McGough offers a comprehensive compensation and benefits package. This includes insurance coverage for medical, dental, vision, life, and disability.
