Job Title:

Production Associate Job Description Production & Packagers support daily bakery manufacturing by preparing, handling, and packaging finished products while strictly following food safety, quality, and sanitation standards. This role is hands‑on, fast‑paced, and essential to meeting production goals. Responsibilities Package baked goods according to production schedules and quality standards. Monitor product quality, labeling, and packaging integrity. Complete daily packing and production logs accurately. Follow all Food Safety, GMP, and sanitation protocols. Operate basic production and packaging equipment as trained. Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations. Communicate production issues to Leads or Supervisors. Assist with material handling and storage of packaging supplies. Support overtime or weekend shifts when required by business needs. Essential Skills General labor and packaging experience. Knowledge of food production processes. Ability to follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs). Adherence to food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards. Understanding of quality control in food production. Additional Skills & Qualifications Previous food production or packaging experience preferred, but not required. Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks. Strong attention to detail and quality. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Team‑oriented with a reliable attendance record. Commitment to food safety and workplace safety standards. Why Work Here? Exposure to heat, noise, and food ingredients is common, and adherence to PPE and safety protocols is required. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Petaluma, CA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.31 - $18.31/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
