Job Description

Great Lakes Data Racks & Cabinets (Assembly/Box Build) This role focuses on assembling cabinets, often referred to as "BOX" or "STACK" configurations.
Key Responsibilities:
Assemble metal cabinets by fitting parts together and fastening them using hand tools (pneumatic screwdrivers, drills, wrenches, hammers Ratchets, Impact, Hand Tools Crimpers,). Install components such as casters, scuff plates, Wires, Terminal ends, using hand tools such as crimpers installing outlets, Surge boxes and shelves into cabinets. Perform customs, installs including electrical or fiber optic cable management (planning, routing, and securing cables) Reading orders to ensure proper product installation. Inspect parts to ensure they are not scratched, dented, or flawed. All wires are installed correctly Prepare wire installed on cabinets for testing once completed
Qualifications:
Ability to read blueprints, specifications, and drawings. Per Customers Custom Build Request Electrical Wiring background / Experience Preferred Receptacle wiring and installation knowledge
Education:
Typically requires a High School diploma or GED.
Technical Skills:
Basic understanding of manufacturing processes, the ability to read production reports, and basic computer skills.
Mathematics:
Ability to perform basic arithmetic (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division).
Teamwork:
Strong communication skills to communicate, read specific customer order forms for custom box buildings regarding order specs and quality issues. Maintain clean and organized work and storage areas.
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions Environment:
Fast-paced manufacturing/warehouse setting.
Physical Demands:
Frequent standing, walking, bending, Squatting, and lifting.
Lifting:
Must be able to frequently handle materials weighing up to 35-50 lbs .
Mobility:
Requires constant standing, walking, bending, and reaching,
Pulling Safety:
