JOB SUMMARY

Provides administrative support to the production department. Releases and distributes orders for assigned department. Performs daily production reporting.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

(Other duties may be assigned) Coordinates execution of department production schedule Gathers and reviews data from manufacturing and support organizations, coordinates with capacity and material analysis to resolve material and capacity discrepancies that affect the schedule Translates anticipated demand into production and purchase orders for internal and external suppliers Attends production and planning meetings Works closely with Customer Service Department, Purchasing Department, Production Department, Quality Assurance, Engineering and Shipping Department to ensure products are produced and shipped per schedule Processes change notices Fulfills replacement part orders Monitors daily attendance Completes daily MDI reports Facilitates orientation for new hires Cross trains team members on processes and assists with production as needed. Create purchase requisitions for department supplies as required using purchasing system Performs safety inspections Other duties may be assigned

Ability to work with minimal supervision. Ability to work collaboratively and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers. Excellent communication, interpersonal and customer service skills. Basic computer literacy including, but not limited to, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and

AS400. QUALIFICATIONS

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Experience:

2+ years of experience in comparable roles.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

Computer Skills:

PC proficiency is essential, as experience with Microsoft Office products and MRP systems (AS400 preferred)

Mathematical Abilities:

Ability to use MS Excel to analyze data and present in a meaningful manner

Analytical or Reasoning Abilities:

Effective leadership, administration, analytical, and communication skills (written and oral).

Communication Skills:

(Writing, Foreign Language, Reasoning) Spanish language a plus. Effective verbal and electronic communication with proper etiquette. Other Skills (Technical, or Other special knowledge and abilities) Organizational and time management skills are required. Ability to handle multiple assignments simultaneously in a fast-paced and complex environment. A team-oriented individual who is flexible and adaptable to an ever-changing environment. Ability to plan and organize and to set priorities to meet deadlines.
