Job Description

Production Control Coordinator Position Summary The Production Control Coordinator supports daily manufacturing operations by ensuring accurate preparation, organization, and distribution of production documentation, customer communications, and shipping paperwork. This role serves as a critical link between scheduling, production, and shipping to maintain workflow efficiency and delivery performance. Position reports into Scheduling and Logistics Manager. Key Responsibilities Production Documentation & Shop Floor Support Prepare shop floor production paperwork, including printing schedules and job packets Sort and organize cut lists to ensure accurate and efficient production execution Distribute all required documentation to the shop floor in a timely manner Maintain organization and version control of production-related documents Customer Communication Generate and send delivery acknowledgments using Microsoft Word and Actifax Ensure all acknowledgments are accurate and aligned with current production and delivery schedules Maintain records of customer communications and confirmations Order Tracking & Reporting Update and maintain backorder reports and hotlists to reflect current order status Generate and distribute shop floor copies of backorder reports to support prioritization Communicate urgent order requirements to appropriate teams to ensure alignment Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Accuracy of production and shipping documentation Timeliness of document preparation and distribution On-time delivery support (OTD/OTIF alignment) Backorder visibility and reporting accuracy Communication effectiveness across departments Qualifications Experience in a manufacturing or production environment preferred Strong organizational and administrative skills Proficiency in Microsoft Word and familiarity with Actifax High attention to detail and accuracy Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Core Competencies Organization & Attention to
