RESRG Automotive is seeking you to join our team as a Production Control Supervisor in our Newbern, TN facility! Your Job The Production Control Supervisor plays a pivotal role in orchestrating the flow of production across the facility. This role is responsible for developing, maintaining, and communicating a robust Master Production Schedule (MPS) that balances customer demand, operational capacity, and material availability. Acting as a strategic connector between production, supply chain, procurement, engineering, and customer service, the Master Scheduler ensures customer commitments are met with precision and efficiency. This position also includes leadership of a small planning team and active involvement in continuous improvement initiatives. What You Will Do in Your Role Develop, own, and communicate a forward?looking Production Control Supervisor (MPS) driven by demand forecasts, customer orders, and inventory strategies. Balance labor, machine capacity, and material availability to meet delivery expectations. Proactively adjust schedules in response to demand changes, supply chain disruptions, or production constraints. Collaborate cross?functionally with procurement, production, engineering, maintenance, and customer service to ensure alignment with plant capabilities. Analyze historical data and forecast trends to improve scheduling accuracy and reduce variability. Monitor and report key performance indicators (KPIs) including on?time delivery, schedule adherence, capacity utilization, and inventory turns. Contribute to and/or lead Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) and Integrated Business Planning (IBP) processes. Identify scheduling risks and develop contingency plans to protect customer commitments. Maintain accurate planning parameters and ensure ERP/MRP data integrity. Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on throughput, inventory optimization, and planning efficiency. Lead, mentor, and develop a small team of planners and/or schedulers. Who You Are (Basic Qualifications) Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Logistics, or a related field; or engineering equivalent experience. 7-10 years of experience in production planning, scheduling, or supply chain within a manufacturing environment. Strong understanding of MRP/ERP systems and end?to?end production planning processes. Experience with capacity planning, material flow, and inventory management. Proficiency in data analysis and advanced Microsoft Excel functions. Solid understanding of manufacturing workflows, operational constraints, and shop?floor operations.
