Your Mission:
The Production Controller I supports the preparation and coordination of welding work packages and materials using ERP systems. This entry-level role assists in interpreting blueprints and specifications, ensuring proper weld and fit sequences, and maintaining accurate documentation. The role works closely with cross-functional teams to support production activities and ensure readiness for fabrication. Explore the Depth of the
Role:
  • Assist in breaking down welding work packages for shop floor use
  • Support the preparation and organization of work packages in alignment with weld and fit sequences
  • Read and interpret basic blueprints, drawings, and specifications with guidance
  • Assist in ensuring materials are available and staged prior to production
  • Maintain and organize project documentation and records
  • Communicate routine issues to supervisors or senior team members
  • Support coordination between engineering and shop floor personnel
  • Maintain weld records and assist with documentation accuracy
Requirements:
Mission Readiness:
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft software applications
  • 0-3 years experience in manufacturing, fabrication, or related field preferred
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
Travel Requirements:
  • Occasional travel may be required
Physical Requirements:
  • May be required to stand, walk, sit, reach/pull/push with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop or kneel regularly.
