Job Description

Join a dynamic and fast-paced landscape construction company as a Production Coordinator, where you will play a vital role in ensuring the seamless execution of projects from initial sale through to successful installation. As the operational link between Sales, Project Management, Vendors, and Field Teams, you will help drive efficiency, organization, and communication across all stages of project delivery. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is highly organized, adaptable, and motivated to make a tangible impact on project outcomes and operational excellence. Responsibilities Coordinate the transition of projects from Sales to Production, ensuring all aspects are prepared for installation. Maintain clear and consistent communication between Sales, Project Managers, Vendors, and Field Teams regarding project timelines, materials, and scheduling needs. Collaborate with Project Managers to align on project execution schedules, labor requirements, and resource allocation. Monitor project schedules and initiate Diggers Hotline calls to ensure safe excavation practices. Identify and help resolve scheduling conflicts, logistical challenges, or production bottlenecks before they impact field operations. Support warranty coordination, including procurement, scheduling, communication, and tracking of warranty-related tasks. Maintain organized project information and assist in keeping production schedules accurate and up to date. Coordinate purchasing and vendor communication to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of materials. Track incoming deliveries, reconcile materials with purchase orders, and maintain accurate inventory records. Assist in maintaining and updating internal ERP material catalogs and pricing information. Coordinate delivery schedules and logistics to ensure materials and equipment arrive on-site efficiently. Work to improve material handling, direct shipping processes, and overall delivery efficiency. Assist in tracking production budgets, job costing, material usage, and operational reporting. Help identify opportunities for cost savings, improved efficiency, and streamlined operational processes. Support production reporting and tracking to help leadership make informed operational decisions. Work collaboratively with internal teams to improve communication, accountability, and production flow. Qualifications Experience in production coordination, operations coordination, purchasing, logistics, project support, or a similar role within landscaping, construction, or a related industry preferred. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and shifting priorities. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong attention to detail and follow-through. Proactive problem-solving mindset with the ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment. Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including Sales, Project Managers, Vendors, and Field Staff. Sense of urgency and ability to prioritize operational needs effectively. Analytical mindset with interest in reporting, efficiency, and process improvement. Proficiency or familiarity with ERP systems, inventory management software, Microsoft Office, and project management tools. Understanding of landscaping materials, construction processes, or field operations is preferred. Self-motivated, adaptable, resourceful, and willing to take initiative.
Offered compensation:
$75,000/yr - $90,000/yr Experience and License Requirements Landscaping (optional) Production Coordination (optional) Project Coordination (optional) Purchasing and Logistics (optional)
