ABOUT THE ROLE
Are you someone who enjoys balancing hands-on production work with team coordination and problem-solving in a fast-paced manufacturing environment? As our Production Coordinator, Foam, you'll play a critical role in supporting daily foam production operations while helping ensure quality, efficiency, safety, and workflow consistency across the department. This is a highly collaborative role that combines technical production expertise with leadership support. You'll work closely with the Production Supervisor and team members to coordinate production activities, troubleshoot issues, train associates, and help keep operations running smoothly. In this role, you'll help drive daily production success while supporting continuous improvement efforts across the Foam department.You will:
Coordinate and support daily foam production workflow to help meet production schedules and operational goals Perform hands-on work in multiple foam production areas including staging, ISM cutting, horizontal contour cutting, vertical-tilt cutting, gluing, and receiving Operate foam production equipment safely and efficiently while following established procedures and quality standards Serve as a technical resource and support partner for Machine Operators and production associates Train and mentor team members on equipment operation, safety procedures, quality expectations, and best practices Assist with onboarding new associates and reinforcing consistency across departmental processes Monitor production output and identify opportunities for workflow improvements and increased efficiency Troubleshoot production or equipment issues and escalate concerns when necessary Perform quality control checks to ensure finished products meet specifications and company standards Help maintain inventory accuracy and organized warehouse/storage locations Promote a clean, organized, and safety-focused work environment Collaborate closely with supervisors and team members to meet daily production targets Lead by example through accountability, reliability, teamwork, and strong work ethic Adhere to all company policies and procedures related to safety, quality, and attendance This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being actively involved in production operations while also helping guide and support team performance. You'll spend time on the production floor, solving problems in real time, assisting team members, and helping drive operational success through both technical expertise and leadership support.ABOUT YOU
You're a dependable and motivated manufacturing professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and supporting team success. You bring a strong attention to detail, a commitment to safety and quality, and the ability to adapt quickly to changing production demands.You likely bring:
A High School Diploma or equivalent 1-3 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment Experience mentoring, training, or supporting production team members Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, production equipment, and quality standards Advanced proficiency in foam production processes and equipment preferred Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills The ability to troubleshoot equipment and production issues effectively Basic to intermediate computer skills, including familiarity with ERP/WMS or production tracking systems preferred Working knowledge of production scheduling concepts; MRP experience is a plus A commitment to safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement The ability to prioritize tasks and adapt in a fast-paced production environment Consistent, reliable attendance and strong accountability You're physically capable of performing (with or without reasonable accommodations) the demands of a manufacturing environment, including standing and walking for extended periods, bending and reaching frequently, lifting up to 50 pounds and working in an environment with moving machinery and varying noise levels.
