$130,000-$150,000 per year Job Overview The Production Director is responsible for setting the standard of creative work on multimedia projects at SBM. This individual will partner with internal teams, client contacts, publications, and external vendors to build effective relationships and deliver quality work built to specifications on schedule and within the approved budget. This individual must comfortably manage a high volume and variety of work with aggressive deadlines. Roles & Responsibilities To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other duties may be assigned. Responsible for the vision and growth of our creative delivery and work as a whole Oversee execution of promotional activities from scripting to completion. Including print, videos, social media, and signage Elevate and maintain an industry-best level of creative work and client delivery Support business development, scoping new projects, and team management Provide strategic leadership that supports ongoing design and development Champion, protect and innovate our internal creative process Serve on Creative Leadership and the SBM Design Leadership Team Manage creative team resourcing, and contributions to team and companywide initiatives Be a visible and respected company-wide leader, and exemplary team advocate Manage direct reports to guide team member creative and professional development Attain price quotes and estimates material delivery times, then evaluates quotes and uses cost-benefit analysis to determine the best source for the job Communicate with outside advertising agencies on ongoing campaigns Creating new ideas and creative design solutions appropriate for diverse media outlets, evolving technologies, and current trends Develop processes for identifying key creative challenges and innovative solutions that support SBM's values and visual standards Manage job progression and quality control throughout an assignment to maintain budget and creative quality expectations Ensure the on-time delivery of assets to meet marketing campaign deadlines and goals Qualification To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Education and/ or Experience Bachelor's degree in marketing, design, video or a related field from a four-year college or university; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities 5-7 years' experience in creative management across brand, interactive, and web. Strong creative vision with digital expertise and a well-rounded creative background. Conceptualize unique solutions to meet client's strategic and creative goals. Expertly design workshops, agendas, and connect research themes to project priorities. Adept at managing and motivating the team to elevate our creativity and delivery. Foster a culture of creative experimentation and innovation. Unique ability in guiding team members to produce their best work. Experience across creative tools including Adobe CS, Sketch, Figma. Expertise in concept development, web & digital, campaign and brand building. Experienced with production and post-production techniques across interactive design. Ability to thrive in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments Supervisor Responsibilities Carries out management responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, planning, assigning, and directing work; performance evaluations; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Ensure employees are properly trained on tasks and safety requirements.
