• Principal Duties & Responsibilities:

• Performs all tasks involved in the production of cable/wire
• Follows standard work procedures and complies with all safety rules
• Conducts daily safety start-up checks as well as safety checks throughout the shifts while using proper PPE
• Meets all specifications of the Work Order, monitoring process to ensure customer satisfaction
• Maintains and logs all information required supporting traceability and quality
• What spooling essentially is:
• + Setting up ("stringing up") the spooler to take finished wire + Running the spooler until the required length/weight is reached + Cutting the wire at completion + Removing the filled spool + Wrapping, boxing, or otherwise packaging the finished spool + Preparing and re‑stringing the machine for the next spool + Managing overlap in tasks (running the machine while finishing packaging)

• Qualifications:

• Solid, stable work history with previous industrial experience preferred
• Ability to Bend and Reach frequently, Push & Pull 75 lbs, and Lift 40 lbs
• Can carry out verbal or written instructions
• Meets attendance guidelines
• Availability to work overtime (up to 12-hour shifts sometimes)
• Ability to work night shifts, or some flexibility with shift schedule
• Principle duties and responsibilities:
• Performs all tasks involved in the production of cable/wire. Follows standard work procedures and complies with all safety rules.
• Primary work duties include:
• Follows Standard Operating Procedures for machine operation
• Monitors process as per specifications
• Maintains housekeeping requirements
• Performs operator Preventative Maintenance Tasks
• Maintaining and log all information required supporting traceability and quality
• Participate in cross-training activities

• Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

• Ability to carry out verbal or written instructions
• Ability to meet attendance guidelines
• Ability to work overtime (over 36/40 hours in workweek).
• Ability to work night shifts, or rotating shift schedule.
