Translate site and business goals into clear production plans, priorities, and resource allocations. Optimize capacity and resources by balancing labor, equipment, and materials to achieve production schedules. Champion a zero‑incident safety culture through the fostering of employee engagement, compliance oversight, audits, investigations, and corrective actions. Ensure product quality and performance by driving root‑cause analysis, corrective actions, and continuous KPI improvement. Develop and lead production and engineering teams by managing supervisors, team leads and engineering staff; building capability through coaching, training, performance management, and succession planning. Oversee engineering support by guiding process engineering, troubleshooting, equipment optimization, and readiness for production support, continuous improvement and new product introductions Collaborate cross‑functionally with Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, Maintenance, and HR to remove constraints and support new products and process improvements, operations, and capital projects. Manage budgets and resources including labor costs, overtime, staffing plans, engineering resources, and capital justification while ensuring strong cost accountability. Communicate performance and risks to site leadership, ensuring transparency around operational status, challenges, and improvement needs. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, Operations Management, or related field (or equivalent technical experience) 5+ years of leadership and people management experience Strong interpersonal skills with a proven ability to lead teams and foster a positive, collaborative environment Demonstrated experience ensuring adherence to HR policies and maintaining full compliance with organizational and regulatory standards Experience leading multiple departments or product lines in a technical environment Strong knowledge of ERP/MES systems, KPIs, and operational metrics Experience in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies Strong computer proficiency including Microsoft suite Must be able to obtain and maintain a DOD security clearance This is an on-site role; regular daily attendance on company premises is required Complete salary range for this role: $95,170 - $161,789 This position is restricted to U.S. citizens due to U.S. federal government contracts that require the employment of only persons who are U.S. citizens.
