Full-time Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Granite Production Manager to oversee daily operations in our stone fabrication facility. This role is responsible for managing workflow, ensuring quality control, supervising production staff, and coordinating with sales and installation teams to meet deadlines and customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee all aspects of granite/quartzite fabrication, including cutting, polishing, edging, and finishing
• Manage production schedules to ensure timely completion of jobs
• Supervise and train shop employees, ensuring safety and efficiency
• Maintain quality control standards for all fabricated products
• Coordinate with templating, sales, and installation teams for seamless project flow
• Monitor inventory of slabs, supplies, and tooling
• Ensure proper maintenance of fabrication equipment and machinery
• Enforce safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized shop environment
• Troubleshoot production issues and implement process improvements
• Track job progress and communicate updates to management

Qualifications:

• 3+ years experience in stone fabrication or countertop production (granite/quartzite preferred)
• 1-2 years in a supervisory or management role
• Strong knowledge of fabrication processes, tools, and machinery (CNC expecience a plus)
• Ability to read shop drawings and blueprints
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Detail-oriented with a focus on quality craftsmanship
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with fabrication machinery
• Experience with CNC machinery
• Knowledge of safety regulations in a fabrication shop environment
