Menomonee Falls, WI Lead manufacturing operations for a global leader in logistics automation. Caljan is seeking a hands-on Production Manager to oversee assembly operations at our U.S. facility. In this role, you will lead daily production execution while driving safety, quality, efficiency, and continuous improvement. • Lead daily assembly operations focused on safety, quality, cost, and on-time delivery
• Manage production planning, scheduling, staffing, and workload coordination
• Supervise, coach, and develop production employees, including performance management
• Drive KPIs for production efficiency, quality, and output
• Use ERP systems for production planning, labor tracking, costing, and reporting
• Ensure compliance with quality standards across all assembly processes
• Lead LEAN manufacturing and 5S continuous improvement initiatives
• Partner with engineering and quality teams to resolve production issues
• Oversee production orders, BOMs, routings, and documentation
• Support inventory planning, budgeting input, and the annual physical inventory process
• Lead production meetings and communicate updates to leadership
• Champion workplace safety as Safety Committee Chair, including audits, training, and compliance What You Bring
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• 5+ years of supervisory or management experience in manufacturing or assembly
• Strong knowledge of fabrication, assembly, or machine-building environments
• ERP and production planning experience (2+ years required)
• Strong LEAN manufacturing and/or 5S experience
• Proven continuous improvement track record in manufacturing
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach and develop teams
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-growth, changing environment
