Production Manager

We are a growing manufacturer of premium electric golf carts built from the frame up in our Alabama facility. Our products are custom-built, painted to dealer specifications, and distributed across the United States through our dealer network. We are seeking a Production Manager to lead our manufacturing floor, oversee quality control, improve accountability, and help build a culture of craftsmanship and pride in the product. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who understands production flow, people management, scheduling, and high-quality assembly standards. Responsibilities Manage daily production operations across a 5-station assembly line and paint shop Schedule production to meet delivery deadlines and dealer commitments Lead and motivate assembly technicians and production staff Enforce quality control standards throughout the build process Identify and correct workmanship issues before carts leave production Improve efficiency while maintaining premium product standards Hold team members accountable for quality, attendance, and productivity Coordinate with purchasing, parts, and management to maintain production flow Reduce rework, warranty issues, and production delays Create a culture of ownership, pride, and attention to detail on the manufacturing floor Qualifications Previous experience managing a production or manufacturing operation Strong leadership and communication skills Experience with scheduling and production planning Proven ability to manage people and maintain accountability Quality control experience strongly preferred Ability to work in a fast-paced custom manufacturing environment Automotive, marine, RV, powersports, or specialty vehicle manufacturing experience is a plus Lean manufacturing or process improvement experience is a plus What We Are Looking For We are looking for someone who: Leads from the front Takes pride in quality workmanship Can motivate a team while maintaining high standards Understands deadlines and production efficiency Does not accept "good enough" Wants to help build and grow a premium manufacturing brand

Pay:

$50,000.00 - $250,000.00 per year
