Darling Ingredients is seeking a Grease Processor/Production Operator to join their team in Doswell, VA. If you have at least 1 year of experience working in a production environment and your high school diploma or equivalent , Darling wants to hear from you! This is a critical role where you will be responsible for mastering all aspects of transforming collected used cooking oil into a high-quality finished product. This role is crucial for our plant's efficiency and involves operating a boiler, heavy equipment, applying practical problem-solving skills to improve processes, and managing finished product shipping. Essential duties/responsibilities:

Take charge of the entire grease processing operation, from receiving raw material trucks and trailers to storing finished goods and preparing them for loadout. Efficiently manage inventory, ensuring optimal use of storage and smooth processing flows. Actively maintain the grease recycling plant's functionality and appearance, including routine cleaning, performing minor maintenance, and painting. This role requires a proactive approach to keeping our facility in top condition. Diligently monitor boiler operation and safety controls to ensure safe and efficient plant performance. Control the flow of material from incoming trucks through process tanks, into finished goods storage, and finally to rail tanker loadout. Perform periodic preventative maintenance on all processing equipment. A solid mechanical aptitude and willingness to get hands-on with repairs are essential for this role.
