Production Operators

Production Operator responsible for operating milling and particle size reduction equipment while supporting material handling, quality checks, documentation, and safety requirements. Job Requirements Manufacturing or industrial experience preferred Experience operating or supporting production equipment Experience with milling, processing, or particle size reduction equipment preferred Ability to operate jet mills, hammer mills, or similar equipment Ability to set up, clean, and prepare equipment for production runs Material handling experience with raw materials and finished goods Ability to handle super sacks, drums, and bags Ability to monitor processing parameters and make adjustments to meet specifications Ability to perform basic in-process quality checks Ability to assist with particle size testing Ability to complete batch records, logs, and production documentation Ability to follow work instructions, safety procedures, quality procedures, and facility procedures Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with dust collection and respiratory protection requirements Ability to wear required PPE, including safety glasses and hearing protection Ability to remain clean shaven as required to pass a cartridge respirator fit test Preferred Skills Forklift experience GMP or SQF experience Particle size testing experience Powder processing experience Material handling experience in a manufacturing environment Experience with production documentation and batch records Mechanical aptitude Experience working in a process-driven production environment Job Responsibilities Operate milling and processing equipment according to work instructions Support particle size reduction processes using equipment such as jet mills and hammer mills Set up equipment for production runs Clean and prepare equipment before and after production Handle raw materials and finished goods, including super sacks, drums, and bags Monitor processing parameters during production Adjust equipment settings as needed to meet product specifications Perform basic in-process quality checks Assist with particle size testing Complete production documentation, including batch records and logs Follow quality system requirements, including GMP and SQF procedures where applicable Follow all safety, quality, and facility procedures Wear required PPE during production activities Work safely around dust collection and respiratory protection requirements Assist with housekeeping and organization of the production area
