Job Description

Job Summary Rosenberger North America, the innovative global leader in radio frequency technology , has an exciting opportunity for a Production Planner at our Akron, PA facility. This position coordinates and expedites the flow of work and materials within or between departments according to daily and weekly production schedules. Duties include reviewing and distributing production, work, and shipment schedules; conferring with department supervisors to determine progress of work and completion dates; managing inventory levels; and solving production issues. This position reports to the Production Planning Manager. Essential Functions of the
Job:
Qualified individuals must have the ability (with or without reasonable accommodation) to perform the following duties: Ensure daily production requirements are achieved to meet customer expectation Analyze and prepare documents needed for production. Data analysis and decision making to support Lower Level Material Supply and finished goods demand. Create production schedule and prioritize job-orders for production optimization. Maintains the production schedule and other reports as required. Follow-up as required with all teams to expedite flow of materials and documents to meet production schedule and customer expectation. Complete status reports for production progress, work in process, and inventory if applicable. Interact with shop floor management on a daily basis to resolve issues regarding manufacturing efficiencies or additional information as requested from Manufacturing, Customer Service and Accounting. Perform other duties as assigned. Maintain regular, predictable attendance. Required Qualifications High school diploma or GED required 1+ year experience in a manufacturing/production environment Experience with production scheduling Strong computer skills with knowledge of MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) Strong organizational and communication skills Detail-oriented, ability to multi-task, and prioritize tasks with strict deadlines Good customer service/phone skills and flexibility for handling a wide range of activities Strong logic and reasoning skills with the ability to problem solve Solid time management skills Desired Qualifications Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business or related field One year of ERP system experience APICS Certification Equal Opportunity Employer Neither this job posting nor any submission of your resume should be construed as an offer or guarantee of employment.
