Production Shift Supervisor - Night Shift

Position Summary The Shift Supervisor is responsible for coordinating and supervising production activities to ensure safety, quality, and efficiency standards are met. This role provides leadership to production employees and works cross-functionally to support overall operations. Key Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate daily production activities Assign work, monitor performance, and provide direction to team members Ensure products meet quality standards and specifications Review production schedules and prioritize workflow to meet deadlines Coordinate with maintenance, quality, and other departments to optimize operations Monitor production performance and address issues impacting efficiency or quality Maintain a safe work environment by enforcing safety policies and procedures Conduct safety inspections and support accident investigations Train and develop new and existing employees Maintain accurate production records and reports Communicate effectively with employees and leadership Supervisory Responsibilities Lead and support employees in a manufacturing environment Interview, train, and evaluate employees Address employee concerns and resolve issues Enforce company policies and procedures Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required 8-10 years of manufacturing experience 1-5 years of supervisory experience preferred (depending on education level) Experience working in a manufacturing environment required Basic computer skills; ERP experience preferred Strong problem-solving and communication skills Work Environment & Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 25 lbs as needed Work in a manufacturing environment with varying temperatures and moderate to high noise levels Required use of personal protective equipment (PPE) on the production floor Schedule Must be flexible to work various shifts, overtime, and occasional weekends
