REMMEY - The Pallet Company is the largest pallet manufacturer dedicated to superior customer service, quality and innovative pallet solutions in the Middle Atlantic region. REMMEY owns and operates three manufacturing plants in Pennsylvania (Lehighton, PA, Beaver Springs, PA, and Middle Creek, PA) cutting, nailing and delivering over 10,000 pallets daily. As a highly respected leader in this very competitive industry, REMMEY has earned its good reputation by delivering quality pallets, built to customer's specifications, on-time, at very competitive prices. In the 60 years since inception the company has grown to over 125 employees producing over 2.8 million pallets a year. Lehighton, PA Plant Overview:
The Production Supervisor oversees daily manufacturing operations across two shifts, to ensure production, safety, quality, and delivery goals are achieved. This role provides frontline leadership for production employees, coordinates workflow activities, enforces company policies, and supports continuous improvement initiatives.
Job Responsibilities:
Supervise daily production activities and workflow execution Monitor production schedules, staffing, and operational performance Ensure efficient use of labor, equipment, and materials Resolve production bottlenecks and escalate equipment issues as needed Maintain production reports and operational documentation Lead, coach, and develop production employees Conduct shift meetings and communicate operational priorities Monitor attendance, performance, and workplace conduct Enforce company policies and procedures Support employee training and development Support OSHA and regulatory compliance Investigate incidents and address safety concerns Support Lean Manufacturing and process improvement initiatives
Job Requirements:
Education:
Bachelor's or Associate's degree 3-5 yrs related experience and/or training: equivalent combination of education and experience Proficiency with a computer and the use of Microsoft Office and ERP/MRP systems Experience with LEAN manufacturing is a plus Ability to operate and lead in a team environment and communicate clearly and effectively with management and fellow team members Possess strategic, logical, and methodical thinking for problem solving, organization, time management, prioritization, and independent decision-making skills, while handling multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment Ability to meet deadlines and hold people accountable while establishing strong relationships Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
