Production Supervisor (Relocation to Yuma, AZ Required) 33155 Gloria Rd, Gonzales, CA 93926 $72,400 a year - Full-time $72,400 a year - Full-time Position Summary This role is based in Gonzales, CA and will require relocation to Yuma, AZ, seasonally. Production Supervisor should have good knowledge of Food Processing and Food Safety programs. Production Supervisor should also have good understanding of HACCP and critical control points. Must have the ability to manage work schedules for the employees to minimize overrun costs. Supervisor must assist in the use and control of raw inventory to insure quality, ability to produce daily production reports to establish yields for packs, document shrink in the production of products and establish corrective action to reduce loss, provide safety training for employees on a monthly basis, able to document accident investigations and provide corrective actions to unsafe conditions and acts, ability to evaluate process flow and make recommendations to improve process. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Supervises production leads and operators
• Daily walk through to confirm plant operations, set points, water source and temperatures in cold rooms
• Establish and maintain production flow at line speeds that are in line with cost model
• Audit production speeds and quality & able to adjust as needed
• Establish schedules and communicate with maintenance crews for coverage
• Responsible for monthly training of employees in operations
• Daily review of raw inventory to insure FIFO
• Daily communication with sales to establish ETA's for products needed to cover orders
• Work with loading dock to provide production to them as needed to load trucks as they arrive for appointments
• Evaluate process flow and make recommendations for process improvements
• Must relocate to Yuma, AZ and Gonzales, CA dependent on business needs
• Other duties are required Qualifications Able to manage and supervise multiple employees Advanced knowledge of food processing Excellent communication and people skills Bilingual (English/Spanish) Required Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel a plus Five years' experience in similar industry High School diploma

Pay:

$72,400.00 per year
