Work Environment:

Onsite at John Deere Dubuque Works We are hiring a Team Lead / Production Supervisor for a long-term opportunity supporting a major manufacturing facility in Dubuque, IA. This position will oversee 3rd shift production operations within a fast-paced heavy equipment manufacturing environment. This role is ideal for someone with prior manufacturing or production supervision experience who enjoys leading teams, driving performance, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives on the production floor. Responsibilities include supervising production employees, coordinating daily manufacturing activities, supporting safety and quality initiatives, assisting with training and development, and helping ensure production schedules and delivery goals are met. This person will also help resolve team conflicts, support accountability, and promote a positive and productive work environment. Candidates with previous union environment experience are strongly preferred. Additional experience with equipment programming, troubleshooting, automation support, or manufacturing equipment is considered a major plus.

Qualified candidates should have:

Previous Manufacturing or Production Supervisor experience Strong leadership and communication skills Experience working in fast-paced production environments Working knowledge of workplace safety standards Microsoft Office proficiency including Word, Excel, and Outlook Ability to work overtime as needed based on production demands Preferred qualifications: Union manufacturing environment experience Hands-on manufacturing equipment experience Automation, troubleshooting, or equipment programming background
