Job Overview Amazon Robotics is seeking a Production Technician who will be responsible for Robotics assembly, Material Handling, and product packaging.
Job Requirements:
Production Technicians are members of the Assembly and Logistics teams within the general manufacturing team responsible for building, automated testing, and packaging of Amazon products manufactured internally. Key job responsibilities Key job responsibilities Key job responsibilities Production associates use their general knowledge of manufacturing tools (including but not limited to torque tools, wrenches, channel locks, etc.) and follow written/verbal instructions to perform the following: Required tasks and build electro-mechanical units utilizing industry best practices. Shipping, receiving, maintaining, tracking, and delivering goods for manufacturing following appropriate protocols. Learning systems and tools for material management as well as coordinate methods of delivery with suppliers and customers Seeking out improvements in processes to continuously meet on time delivery of goods. Ability to operate Power Industrial Equipment & pallet jacks for loading and unloading trailers General knowledge of manufacturing tools (including but not limited to torque tools, wrenches, channel locks, etc.) and follow written/verbal instructions Basic Qualifications- Experience in English-language communication skills, both written and verbal
- Can carry/lift up to 50 lbs, stand/walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours, and frequently push, pull, squat, bend and reach
- Experience in high-volume manufacturing operations or sourcing environments Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of automated material handling systems, packaging technologies and storage solutions
- Experience that includes strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing
- Experience with computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
