Job Description Production Tech (Inspector) 3rd Shift Working at ourBeavercreek Site:
GE Aerospace operations have been part of the Beavercreek community for over 70 years! Our Beavercreek facility manufactures gas turbine tubes, ducts, and manifolds, and also has complex machining, fabrication and investment casting capabilities. Product engineering, new product development and testing is performed on site. This facility also does repair and overhaul of tubes, ducts, and manifolds. We have been awarded OSHAS's highest safety rating. Wages are $22.75 + per hour based on experience. Additional $1.50 Premium Pay for 3rd ShiftRole Overview:
Practically apply fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions. variety of principles to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations where limited standardization exists. Define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions. Interpret service manuals, blueprints and related documents Use standards shop measuring devices (calipers and micrometers) Able to lift and exert 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently and 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally Certain areas may require mandatory/random drug testingThe Ideal Candidate:

High School graduate or equivalent 6 months experience in manufacturing and/or quality or Aerospace environmentPreferred Qualifications:
Understanding or ability to learn the use of measuring gauges such as manual calipers.Additional Information:

You'll be operating and working around moving machines - stand-up forklifts, mobile carts, cranes, etc. Due to normal machining operations there may be dust, fumes, or smoke (not over OSHA Permissible Exposure Levels (PEL)).Inclusive Culture. In addition to sitting and standing while operating equipment, some activities may require standing in one place for long periods, walking around, or climbing stairs.
