Purpose and Scope:
The Production Technician is responsible for performing production processes for aircraft components in compliance with established processes and practices, and for which they have been properly trained. B.Responsibilities:
Perform all assigned work in accordance with established approved processes. Help to maintain records and work process documentation. Be familiar with work processes described in the FAA Repair Station, Quality Manual and other supporting technical documents pertinent to assigned work. Maintain proper tools to accomplish assigned responsibilities. C.Key Tasks:
Disassembly, cleaning, repair and overhaul, assembly and testing of aerospace hydraulic, pneumatic and electro-mechanical components. Maintain all work areas in a safe, clean and neat manner. Responsible to use safe practices in all work activities. D.Organizational Relationships:
The production technician reports to the Shop Foreman. E.Essential Skills and Qualifications:
Hands-on experience in the disassembly, repair, assembly and testing of hydraulic and pneumatic aerospace and military components. Must possess an in-depth working knowledge of high pressure hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical systems including hydraulic power units. Operate high-pressure pneumatic and hydraulic test set-ups following aerospace and military product specification and/or drawings. Ability to read, interpret and perform work in accordance with technical manuals and work documents. FAA Airframe (A) and/or Powerplant (P) certification a plus. Possess good general mechanical aptitude. Additional skill qualifications, certifications and licenses will be recognized by the company. F. Mid-America Aerotech Commitment toTeam Members:
