Production Technician (Electrical)

Job Summary We are currently seeking an experienced Production Technician to join our growing team. Production Technicians work under the guidance of a Production Manager at our facility and perform a multitude of tasks including production assembly and basic engineering tasks related to low-voltage LED systems and testing. To succeed in this position, you must be a detail-oriented professional who takes pride in assembling quality products. Duties and Responsibilities Respond quickly to all order requests and review components for compatibility Work rapidly without compromising quality in order to minimize down times Communicate estimated timelines for project completion to Production Manager Conduct tests and assessments of new systems and repairs to ensure quality Commit to compliance with all safety standard and regulations at all times Perform preventative maintenance to stay ahead of potential issues Install new equipment and manage inventory to expand infrastructure as needed Always seek the solution that is most cost effective without compromising quality Assist in maintaining an organized warehouse Keep a clean and organized work station Maintain all equipment in excellent working order Qualifications and Skills 1+ years working as an electrical technician, production technician, or similar role Knowledge of electrical systems, particularly low voltage circuits and LEDs Proficiency with low wattage soldering equipment Ability to assemble and repair custom LED lighting systems Ability to use hand tools and power tools Ability to read wiring diagrams, blueprints, and layouts Ability to work well as a member of a team Good communication skills Basic computer literacy (Microsoft Outlook, Adobe Acrobat, etc.)
