We are a growing, motivated company located in St. Francisville, LA . Job Summary Red Stick Armature Works is looking for a Production Utilities Manager to help lead several support areas within our motor repair shop. This position is responsible for managing employees, coordinating workflow, and helping keep production moving safely and efficiently throughout the shop. This is a hands-on leadership role working closely with departments across production.

Key Responsibilities Lead and manage a team responsible for parts cleaning, sandblasting, paint prep, fabrication, quality testing, and rotor balancing operations. Coordinate daily workflow and movement of jobs between departments to keep production running efficiently and on schedule. Monitor safety, quality, and productivity standards throughout all utility and support operations. Supervise employee performance, provide coaching, and hold team members accountable to company expectations. Help identify production issues, prioritize work, and support process improvements across the shop. Ensure tools, equipment, and work areas are properly maintained and organized. Communicate regularly with production leadership regarding job status, workflow, and department needs. Use an iPad or computer to review employee time, track jobs, and manage production-related information. Qualifications & Requirements Previous leadership or supervisory experience in an industrial, manufacturing, mechanical repair, fabrication, or shop environment preferred. Experience managing employees, workflow, production priorities, and multiple moving parts in a fast-paced environment. Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to understand shop operations, equipment, and repair processes. Experience in environments such as motor repair, machine shops, mechanic shops, fabrication shops, welding operations, or similar hands-on industries is highly valued. Ability to prioritize work, solve problems, and keep production moving efficiently. Strong communication, organizational, and team leadership skills. Basic computer and administrative skills, including tracking jobs and employee time. Commitment to workplace safety, quality standards, and accountability.
