(FDI) has been designing and manufacturing world-class custom exhibits and environments since 1973. We're the team behind brand experiences for Nike, Xfinity, Colt, Benelli — and right now, we're deep into the largest project in our 50-year history for the FIFA World Cup. Our 130,000 sq. ft. state-of-the-art facility in Farmington, CT is where those experiences come to life — through expert woodworking, metal and plastics fabrication, graphics production, and a full logistics fleet that ships globally. We are a full-service operation from concept sketch to venue delivery, and we need a Warehouse Manager who can lead the team that makes it all happen. What you'll do... Manage end-to-end production flow for custom exhibit builds — from order intake through final staging and shipment Red-line technical drawings and update panel configurations to meet project specifications Oversee receiving, assembly, staging, and outbound shipping of exhibit components and structures Lead, develop, and schedule a team of 8 production workers with varying skill levels Operate forklifts for loading trucks and repositioning heavy crates and exhibit structures Coordinate with the Traffic Manager on scheduling, trucking logistics, and fleet coordination Partner with account executives to align production timelines with client deliverables Maintain a safe, organized production environment and manage overtime during peak fall season Experience needed...Required:
3-5 years of experience in a production, fabrication, or manufacturing environment 3-5 years of supervisory or management experience Forklift certification and hands-on operation experience Ability to read and interpret technical drawings or production specs Assertive communicator comfortable directing a diverse, multilingual team Organized and adaptable under pressure with multiple active projectsPreferred:
Background in trade show, exhibit, or events production Experience with custom cabinetry, millwork, or specialty fabricationCompensation:
Hourly:
Guaranteed 40 hours/week + overtime pay for all additional hoursBenefits:
