We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Production Worker/Assembler to join our manufacturing team. This role involves assembling components and products with precision, utilizing various tools and technical skills to ensure high-quality output. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, experience with manufacturing processes, and the ability to interpret schematics and blueprints. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment focused on quality, safety, and efficiency.Essential Functions/Duties:
- Assemble metal structures and mechanical components according to schematics, blueprints, and work instructions
- Use hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment to complete assembly tasks and projects
- Perform welding and fabrication tasks as required for assembly processes
- Complete projects within timelines or deadlines to meet production requirements and demands
- Inspect finished products for quality, accuracy, and conformance with quality control and production requirements
- Operate overhead cranes, forklifts, and other moving equipment to move and/or unload materials as needed
- Follow all safety protocols and use required PPE
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area to promote safety and efficiency
- Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines while adhering to safety standards
Requirements:
- High school degree or GED is required
- Proven experience in manufacturing or assembly environments as a production worker/assembler or similar role
- In-house certification of forklift and other applicable machinery is required
- Ability to read, understand, and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately
- Ability to read tape measure and do basic math to ensure accuracy
- Familiarity with different types of metals and their properties
- Skilled in using hand tools and power tools
- Hands-on experience with welding and fabrication techniques
- Mechanical knowledge related to assembly processes is highly desirable
- Ability and willingness to learn and implement safety rules, regulations, and procedures and quality control practices
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team to complete projects on time
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality work
- Physical stamina to stand, bend, lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs consistently), and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods of time
- Physical stamina to occasionally grasp, push, pull, flip, and lift sheet metal and other materials that exceed 100 lbs.
- Experience working with manufacturing equipment such as machining tools or welding apparatus is advantageous This role requires a commitment to quality, safety, and the ability to follow detailed instructions.
