Job Description

Are you looking for an exciting new opportunity? Outpost Brands is looking for enthusiastic individuals to join our team! The Production/Packaging Specialist will work together with their team to assist with all aspects of the production/packaging process. Under the direction of the Production and Packaging Supervisor, this Team manages all tasks related to preparing and packaging products based on various work instructions, processes, and techniques performed as a part of daily routine operations.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Work on the production and/or packaging line with consistent speed and accuracy Ensure that cGMP production requirements and standards are met consistently Make every effort to increase productivity and efficiency without compromising quality Complete packaging tasks such as box assembly, packing and taping Operate machinery correctly and maintain it with care Report any machinery issues to management Work cooperatively with the production team to meet quotas and goals Maintain a clean and safe work area Observe all safety guidelines and report safety concerns to management Follow all written and verbal instructions Attend all safety and production trainings Demonstrate a positive and professional attitude Able to work overtime as needed and perform other tasks as assigned.
Skills and Qualifications:
Read/understand written instructions, and other information; maintain routine written records, and to communicate problems effectively. Ability to read, write and understand the English language and have general skills to satisfactorily complete job requirements Accurate arithmetic skills (addition, subtraction, division) to calculate weights, fills, etc. Must work well with others with a Positive Attitude in a fast-paced environment Physical Demands & Work Environment This is a physically demanding job requiring the ability to stand on your feet on a concrete floor for 10+ hours/shift in a non-climate controlled warehouse/production floor setting. Physical ability to push/pull/lift large containers weighing up to 50 pounds. Employee must be able to work under pressure and time deadlines during peak periods. Must be available for occasional overtime, extended shift hours, including weekend work during peak production times.
Minimum Qualifications:
A high school diploma or its equivalent is required Must be authorized to work in the US Must be able to pass a background and drug screen Must have reliable transportation Must be able to read and understand English No piercings that cannot be removed while at work Please apply through this site.
