Job description Job Overview The A Plus Group, LLC is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Custodian to join our team in Forsyth County. This position offers part-time hours, 5 evenings per week , and is essential in keeping our client spaces clean, safe, and welcoming. If you take pride in your work and value consistency, reliability, and flexibility, we'd love to have you on our team. Responsibilities Sweep, mop, vacuum, scrub, and polish floors. Clean and disinfect restrooms including toilets, sinks, partitions, and mirrors. Empty trash and recycling bins and dispose of waste properly. Clean interior glass surfaces including windows and mirrors. Refill dispensers for soap, paper towels, and toilet paper. Dust furniture, fixtures, and equipment. Report maintenance issues (e.g., leaks, broken fixtures). Secure the facility by locking doors and windows when not in use. Maintain and request cleaning supplies as needed. Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate PPE. Perform other related duties as assigned. Skills Proven experience in commercial cleaning or custodial services is preferred. Familiarity with floor care techniques, including buffing and polishing methods. Ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness in diverse environments. Knowledge of residential painting techniques is a plus. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering quality results. Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Capability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment. Physical stamina and strength to perform cleaning tasks that may require lifting or moving items.
