Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pet Bather to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a genuine love for animals and a strong understanding of their needs. As a Pet Bather, you will be responsible for ensuring that pets are clean, comfortable, and well-groomed. This role requires attention to detail and the ability to handle various breeds of dogs with care. Responsibilities Bathe and groom pets according to their specific needs, ensuring a positive experience for each animal. Use appropriate bathing techniques and products to maintain the health and cleanliness of pets. Safely restrain animals during grooming procedures to ensure their safety and the safety of staff. Maintain cleanliness in the bathing area, including washing towels, grooming tools, and equipment. Observe pets for any signs of skin conditions or abnormalities and report findings to management. Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with pet owners about their pet's grooming needs. Assist in other areas of the facility as needed. Requirements Previous experience in animal handling or related fields such as veterinary assistance, dog training, or pet grooming is preferred. Strong skills in animal restraint and handling to ensure safety during grooming procedures. Ability to work well with various breeds of dogs and cats, understanding their unique temperaments and behaviors. Excellent communication skills to interact positively with pet owners and team members. A genuine passion for animal welfare and a commitment to providing high-quality care.
